Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire Anchor Goose Creek Spray Foam Insulation for work at your home or business. If you browse the site, ask for an estimate or schedule a job with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work through it.

When we sign a written estimate or agreement with you for a specific job, that document controls wherever it differs from these terms.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Goose Creek, SC. We install spray foam, blown-in and other insulation, seal air leaks, remove old insulation, and put down vapor barriers in attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements across Goose Creek and the cities around it. You can see the full list of services on our home page.

Everything on this site is general information about insulation work. It's not advice for your particular house, because we can't know what's in your attic or crawl space until we've looked. Your estimate covers the work we'll actually do.

Estimates and pricing

We give free on-site estimates, with no pressure and no obligation. The estimate lists the work, the materials and the price, and it's based on what we can see and reach on the day we visit.

Prices can change once the job is open when we find something the estimate couldn't account for, such as old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, hidden damage, or framing that has to be dealt with first. If that happens, we stop, show you what we found and agree a change with you before we do the added work. We won't charge for extra work you didn't approve.

Estimates are good for the period written on them. After that, material costs may have moved and we may need to update the price.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material supply, illness or a job running long can push a date, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know and set a new one.

You agree to give our crew safe, clear access to the work area, including the attic hatch, crawl space entry, driveway and electrical outlets as needed. Please move stored items out of the way, and keep children and pets clear of the work area while we're there.

Some products, spray foam in particular, need everyone out of the house for a set time while they cure. We'll tell you the re-entry time, meaning when it's safe to come back inside, before the job starts, and you agree to follow it for your household and pets.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, call us as early as you can. Any deposit, cancellation fee or rescheduling terms will be written on your estimate or agreement, and those terms apply.

Payment

Payment is due as stated on your estimate or agreement. If a deposit is required, it's listed there along with when the balance is due.

If a payment is late, we may pause work or hold off on scheduling until the account is brought current. You're responsible for reasonable costs we incur to collect an unpaid balance, to the extent South Carolina law allows.

Warranties and disclaimers

We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, so if something about our workmanship isn't right, call us and we'll come back and make it right. Any written warranty for your job is spelled out on your estimate or agreement.

Insulation products carry their makers' own warranties. We pass those along to you as the makers write them, and their terms, not ours, decide what they cover.

We don't promise a particular drop in your power bill or a particular indoor temperature, because those depend on things outside our work, such as your heating and cooling system, windows, ductwork and how the house is used. We aren't responsible for problems caused by damage, alterations or repairs made by others after we finish, or by moisture, pests or structural issues that were already there and outside the scope we agreed.

Apart from what's written in your agreement and what the law requires, our work and this website are provided as is, without other warranties.

Limits on our liability

To the extent South Carolina law allows, Anchor Goose Creek Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost income or the cost of staying elsewhere, arising from our services or your use of this website.

Where we are liable, our total liability for a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with anything, call us first. Most problems get sorted out quickly when we can come out and look at them together, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take the matter to a court with jurisdiction in Berkeley County, South Carolina, unless we both agree to mediation or another way of resolving it.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies. Changes don't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or agreement unless we both agree in writing.
